I just had to do a post about how to make adorable photos for super cheap! I’ve been doing this picture frame DIY forever and it’s seriously a no-brainer and adds character and style to any space.
Things you will need:
- photos you love
- picture frames
I picked up Mambi Paper Sheets from Michael’s for $19.99 and had a 55% off coupon to use, so I scooped up a booklet filled with amazing oversized sheets of patterned paper for less than $12. You can use these sheets for tons of art projects, but I saw the peony sheets and immediately was like, “OH! I need to frame these!” I couldn’t find the sheets on Michael’s website, but check them out here.
It just so happened that the next day I got another coupon in my inbox (sign up for the coupons, it’s the best!) for 50%, so I went back to Michael’s and scored a 4-pack of simple silver frames for less than $15. Click here to see the style I purchased, but in silver. To be honest I would’ve gotten these in gold, but they didn’t have them so silver was my next choice. I’m a gold girl if I do say so myself. =)
The steps are simple. All you have to do is cut the photo or paper sheet to fit your frame and close up your frame. VOILA! I have my photos in my kitchen resting on a picture ledge from Ikea (view here) with a couple candles and I love, love, love the finished product. Another great thing about doing photos like this, is you don’t have to feel bad if you want to change out the picture because the cost is literally cents!
P.S Pin it below and save this DIY for later =)!
