Cinnamon Cake Recipe

Whether you call it Cinnamon Cake, Land of Nod, Monkey Bread, or Sticky Bread, one thing is for certain…this treat is DAMN DELICIOUS (if you like cinnamon). I truly am not handy in the kitchen, but this is one thing I can make, wa-hooo!! I’ve tried a couple of recipes from Pinterest and I’ve tweaked the measurements a bit to satisfy my own taste buds- mostly having to do with the butter and sugar.

If you can follow these instructions carefully, you will make your tummy soooo happy. Let’s get to it!

You’ll need:

  • Measuring Cups
  • 10″ Bundt Pan

Ingredients (serves 8-10)

  • 20 frozen dinner rolls
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding (prepared with milk)

*NOTE: The frozen dinner rolls will need to rise for 6-8 hours before baking in the oven. Prepare before going to sleep to enjoy for breakfast/brunch or prepare in the morning to enjoy for dinner. Well not actual dinner, I meant dessert after dinner. Or just have it for dinner, it’s your world babe!

Directions:

  • Grease a 10″ bundt pan with non-stick spray or butter. I use butter.
  • Add 20 frozen dinner rolls. Do not add more!! It will overflow once the rolls have risen- trust.
  • Sprinkle with brown sugar
  • Add vanilla pudding. Make sure you prepare the vanilla pudding, don’t just add the powder. Slap that goopy baby on good! As even as you can
  • Add cinnamon
  • Pour melted butter
  • Cover with a damp cloth, leave on the counter, and let that baby riiiiiise for 6-8 hours

6-8 hours later the frozen dinner rolls will have gotten nice and puffy looking. We are in business, people!

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Bake for 25 minutes
  • Poke with a knife or toothpick to make sure it’s fully cooked
  • Pull it out of the oven, let it cool for 3-5 minutes and remove from bundt pan
  • Serve with or without ice cream

READY TO DEMOLISH!

It’s so insanely yummy, you will find yourself making it all the time! I try to limit how often I make it because let’s be honest it’s straight up butter and sugar lol. I’ll make it for holidays, birthdays, or other special occasions. Also, I’m not upset at how delicious it makes my house smell while it’s baking. Yum, yum, yum!

Enjoy!
