Reasons why you should start applying cuticle oil: Reasons why you should start applying cuticle oil: 🔸Hydrating & Moisturizing- Cuticle oil helps to keep your actual nail hydrated and moisturizes the surrounding skin. Hydration increases nail flexibility and reduces the chance of breakage. 🔸Protect & Prevent- The layer of moisture acts as a barrier to help protect the skin and nails from unwanted enemies like the cold (think winter time) or water. These examples can severely dehydrate and cause cracks, splits or hangnails. Resulting in an increased chance of infection. 🔸Nail Growth- A gentle massage around the cuticle area can increase circulation and stimulate nail growth. 🔸Softens- Moisturizing cuticles (at least daily) keeps the skin soft and makes pushing back cuticles much, much easier. 🔸Lasting Manicure- Yes, you read that right. Your manicure can last longer with daily oiling because the nail is more hydrated and flexible! 🔸Try applying cuticle oil at bedtime. It can make such a difference in the overall health and appearance of your nails. You don’t even need to buy an expensive oil, I usually just use coconut oil at the end of the day =)!

You’ll want to reach all the nooks and crannies for optimal results. The better you file, the less time it takes to soak. ⭐️ Dip a piece of cotton in acetone and place on the nail. Wrap it nice and tight with foil. You can also use nail clamps to keep the foil in place. ⭐️ Let the product soak for about 5 minutes. If you’ve done step 1 thoroughly, *5 minutes* is all you should need to release the product from the nail. Also keep it mind every light cured product is different and you may need a couple more minutes of soaking. *Timing can vary* ⭐️ LIGHTLY guide your removal tool over the nail and the product should come off easily. ⭐️ Use a 100/180 grit buffer to smooth the nail and remove any last bits of product. ⭐️ Finish with a thorough hand wash, apply cuticle oil/cream, and hand lotion. When you’re working with stickers + gel polish, When you’re working with stickers + gel polish, seal those mfs in with a brush on gel (in this vid I used Gelish Structure) and finish with a gel top coat. Before sealing, make sure the sticker is laying COMPLETELY flat and no edges are sticking up. For best adhesion I always remove the tacky layer before applying the stickers. For example: ⭐️ Apply base coat. Cure. ⭐️ Apply color of choice. Cure. In this vid I used one coat of a neutral polish to maintain the natural nail vibe. ⭐️ Remove tacky layer with acetone on lint free gauze. ⭐️ Apply stickers ⭐️ One coat of brush on gel.
