Carry-On Essentials

Packing my carry-on for travel used to stress me out so much. I somehow care less about the clothes/shoes I need, and more about my airplane necessities. I want to share with you my carry-on must haves whether I’m travelling for 2 days or 2 weeks.

Carry-On Bag

First of all, let’s talk about the bag that’s suppose to hold all my precious items. I splurged on Away’s The Everywhere Bag because I wanted a good quality bag that would last me for many travels. Let me tell you, this bag is…incredible! Lots of compartments inside and my favorite part is the back sleeve that allows you to slide it onto your roller bag. This is a game changer, wow. It makes maneuvering through airports and airplanes so much easier.

Essential Oils

I can’t leave the house without my oils even if I’m gone for 2 hours. I rely heavily on essential oils as a means to treat different ailments while travelling. Saje’s “Pocket Farmacy” has the most incredible collection of blends to help with headaches, upset tummy, coughing, pain, and stress. It comes in a convenient zipper pouch and is small enough to easily toss in your carry-on or everyday bag. If you’re an essential oil lover, the Pocket Farmacy is for you!

Skin Care

I’ve been all about ZO Skin Health for several years and I have all my everyday products in travel sizes. Yes, I bring my entire skin care collection with me; cleanser, exfoliator, toner, serum, eye-cream, sun screen, and moisturizer. I also always pack my Clarisonic cleansing device in my carry-on. Clarisonic’s Mia Fit is the perfect size to put in my cosmetic bag! I fully charge it the night before to avoid bringing my charger or have it die in the middle of my trip- that’s a no no.

I’m also always sure to pack a mask for my face and eyes. Nothing dehydrates my skin more than being on an airplane, so I like to mask at some point during my trip. A sheet mask or trial sizes of The Body Shop masks are packaged very conveniently to toss right into my bag.

Oh, and I’ve been loving how hydrating the Boscia Rosehip Omega Face Oil is. I recently started using this product and it’s my new favorite to take on trips to add some moisture back into my skin. Highly recommend!

Extra Socks

I hate how cold airplanes are and my feet suffer the most. I pack an extra pair of thermal (legit thermal) socks so I can stay cozy warm. I will switch back to my original pair of ankle socks (or whatever socks I had on) once we land. Depending on how long the flight is, I’ll bring my own travel blanket and wrap myself up in a little cocoon. Alternatively if I don’t bring a blanket, I’ll travel with a comfy cardigan. I stumbled upon this incredibly soft cardi from House of CB London and I don’t want to ever take it off. It’ s oversized and plush, perfect for keeping me warm. Note: The girl in the photo is not me.

Electronics

I always need extra battery power for my phone wherever I am, and especially while travelling. I normally pack 2 Mophie packs just to be safe. Because I need directions and restaurant recommendations all the time! And my Bose noise cancelling headphones come with me during every trip. These severely come in handy on the plane; crying children, loud talkers. You know the deal.
